Russia is a closed, autocratic regime controlled by a strongman and the wealthy few.

Any form of dissent is crushed immediately, and anyone even suspected of badmouthing the government is rounded up, thrown in prison and/or becomes the victim of an “accident”.

Does any of this sound familiar, America?

If you’re an atheist, what would be your motive in spreading atheism, and why would you care what others believe?

Witness the fate of Alexie Navalny.

Food for thought.

And, the regime has complete control of the media, so when an uprising or other occurrence they deem inappropriate occurs, they squash coverage of it and replace it with their propaganda.

I’m wondering about attachment and transference with the therapist and the idea of escape and fantasy? How much do you think your strong feelings, constant thoughts, desires to be with your therapist are a way to escape from your present life? I wonder if the transference serves another purpose than to show us our wounds and/or past experiences, but is a present coping strategy for managing what we don’t want to face (even if unconsciously) in the present—-current relationships, life circumstances, etc. Can anyone relate to this concept of escape in relation to their therapy relationship? How does this play out for you?
